Belize Earns Top Spots in 2025 Condé Nast Traveler Awards

Belize’s tourism industry has earned itself top spots in the Condé Nast Traveler 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards, announced on Tuesday. The country secured six spots across several regional categories, cementing its status as one of the most sought-after destinations in the Americas and building on its impressive 2024 showing.

The annual awards, voted on by tens of thousands of readers worldwide, celebrate excellence in travel.

Among this year’s standout achievements, Ambergris Caye claimed the No. 4 spot among Islands in Central and South America, while Alaia Belize ranked an impressive No. 2 in the Top 20 Resorts in Central America. Several other Belizean gems were also recognized for their distinctive charm and sustainable tourism efforts: Gaia Riverlodge (No. 11), Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort (No. 12), Manta Island Resort (No. 14), and Copal Tree Lodge (No. 16).

The Belize Tourism Board applauded the honorees, noting that their commitment to qualityand authentic experiences. These awards will be featured in Condé Nast Traveler’s November 2025 print edition.
