Ten plus persons who were detained for the landing of a Narco Plane on the Southern Highway near Toledo on Saturday night have been charged.
The charge sheet names several persons, three of whom are senior members of the “Commander Operations Strike Team,” led by ACP Marco Vidal. The officers are Delwin Casimiro, Nelson Middleton, and Elmer Nah.
These officers are charged with abetment to drug trafficking and conspiracy to land a plane at an unlicensed aerodrome.
The Reporter notes that the charges did not include weapons possession and attempted murder, given the statements of officers coming under fire from the Commissioner of Police.
