The Supplies Control Unit (SCU) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise has announced new prices for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) that will take effect on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The adjustment reflects a price increase of BZ $0.32 per gallon due to rising acquisition costs.
These new prices apply to both wholesale and retail sales of LPG, taking into account sales volume in urban and rural areas. The pricing is based on a 70:30 mixture of propane and butane, in accordance with the Belize National Standard Specification for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (BZS 21:2012).
