UDP Hosts CDU Training to Strengthen Party Leadership

The United Democratic Party (UDP) successful hosted the Caribbean Democrat Union (CDU) Training Initiative, held over the weekend for party standard bearers, caretakers, members of its Central Executive Committee, and representatives of the UDP Youth Arm.

The training forms part of the UDP’s wider effort to strengthen its internal organization and reinforce its role within Belize’s democratic system. Party officials said the initiative supports the party’s ongoing work to rebuild, renew, and reposition itself to better serve the Belizean people.

The UDP expressed gratitude to the Caribbean Democrat Union, the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, and the Leadership Institute for their continued partnership and support in advancing democratic values and leadership development in the region.

Party leaders noted that a strong, prepared, and organized UDP is essential to the health of Belize’s democracy.
